The NI Housing Executive has invested £137,000 into housing upgrades in Newtownabbey.
Building contractor Dixons has upgraded 89 homes in the Old Mossley area.
Works involved installing double glazing windows at the properties, making them more energy efficient.
Sharon Crooks, Area Manager, said: "This is a terrific boost for our tenants; I am delighted we have been able to progress this scheme.
"Over the years our homes have been regularly upgraded and maintained and in this contract the single glazed windows which have reached the end of their useful life are being replaced with uPVC double glazed units.
"With their replacement our tenants will benefit from greater energy efficiency, noise reduction, warmer homes, and lower heating costs in their homes."
