An Bord Pleanála Convenes North-South Interconnector Hearing

An oral hearing into the proposed North-South interconnector opens today, Monday, 07 March.

An Bord Pleanála has convened the hearing in the Nuremore Hotel in Monaghan which is expected to last 12 weeks.

It follows the submission in June of a planning application for the development from EirGrid.

The EirGrid project team and its specialist consultants will fully participate in the hearing into this critical piece of electricity infrastructure.
