Harland & Wolff (H&W) employees are being offered support after it was announced 60 jobs are to be axed.
Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry said he will be proactively working with employees affected by the announcement to determine what steps to take to assist those facing redundancy.
He said: "My officials will work closely with all those involved to ensure the best advice, help and support are offered to affected employees at the appropriate time.
"My Department will also be offering redundancy clinics to the company and their employees. The Redundancy Advice Service works in partnership with a range of agencies including Further Education Colleges and HMRC to provide advice and support on a range of issues."
