Nordex has announced it has secured orders for two wind farms in Ireland.
The wind farms in Cork and Kerry will be fully operational by summer 2017.
The Killaveenoge Wind Farm near Drinagh will feature ten N90/2500 turbines with a 125 metre tip height for a local Irish developer and turbine delivery is scheduled for October 2016.
The seven-turbine Coollegrean Wind farm near Brosna for Element Power will also feature N90/2500 turbines with a 115 m tip height and turbine delivery is scheduled for November 2016.
Patxi Lnada, Nordex SE Chief Sales Officer, said: "Nordex has built business in Ireland over many years. Ireland continues to be an important market for our company, and we have a strong team on the ground there. These new orders mean that we have over 600 MW of turbines either in operation or construction."
