ESB Group Finance Director To Join Glen Dimplex

ESB's Group Finance Director Donal Flynn is to leave the company and join electrical goods firm Glen Dimplex, it has been announced.

The electricity company added Mr Flynn will continue in his present role until a successor has been appointed.

Before joining ESB in August 2010, Mr. Flynn was Chief Financial Officer with SSE Airticity and held a number of finance roles in General Electric.

Commenting on the announcement, ESB Chief Executive Pat O'Doherty said: "Donal has been a highly respected executive team colleague and valued Group Finance Director. He has made a lasting contribution to the company and given great support to the Board and to me as Chief Executive. We all wish him continued success in his new role."
