Fine Gael has been slammed over attempting to delay regeneration plans for Ballymun in Dublin.
Sinn Féin Councillor Noeleen Reilly criticised the party and said she was "really disappointed" that communities were being pitted against each other.
She also confirmed Ballymun was the next in line for a local area plan.
She said: "We are without shopping facilities and much of our town centre is derelict. During the Development plan meetings this week Fine Gael councillors put forward a motion to change the arrangement of the area plans, meaning Ballymun would drop down the line.
"Unfortunately this motion was passed. The draft plan for Ballymun is due to come back to the council in October and I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure that a realistic plan is put in place for Ballymun."
