Farrans To Start Work On Watermains Project In Belfast

Contractor Farrans Construction is preparing to start work on a watermains improvement project in Belfast.

Work on the Shankill Road scheme is to get underway on 06 June and is expected to take approximately five weeks to complete.

The work will be completed in sections, starting at Peter's Hill and moving along the Shankill Road. A lane closure will be in place and two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.

NI Water is working closely with Transport NI, PSNI, local traders and residents to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
