Contractors Dawson-Wam is to begin the final section of pipelaying in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
NI Water said the work, which is to start on Monday 13 June, includes pipelaying along the A29 between Annagh Road and Strifehill Road.
The northbound carriageway will be closed between the roads for approximately three weeks and diversions will be put in place.
Martin Gillen, NI Water Senior Project Manager, said: "I am pleased to advise that this £2 million NI Water investment to improve the security of water supply within the Cookstown area is now almost complete. NI Water and its contractor Dawson-Wam would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience and co-operation while essential pipelaying works have been ongoing over the last few months. I would take this opportunity to ask for the continued support of motorists to exercise care when passing live construction areas to ensure the safety of our work force, themselves and the wider public."
