Contractors BSG Civil Engineering is to start work on a sewerage improvement project in Co Armagh.
The work on the Newry Road, which is to begin on Saturday 18 June, is part of an ongoing Armagh Sewerage Improvement Scheme, worth around £3 million overall.
Construction work will involve the laying of approximately 2000m of gravity and pumping sewer together with associated manholes.
The first phase of the work is to commence at the Friary Road/ Barrack Street junction, progressing towards Folly Lane until 10 July. The second phase is planned to start on 25 July at Folly Lane progressing towards Cavanacaw Road and is expected to be completed in September 2016.
Diversions will be put in place.
A spokesperson from NI Water said: "We fully appreciate the disruption caused by these works, and NI Water and our contractor, BSG Civil Engineering Ltd, would like to apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their continued patience and cooperation as we complete these essential works. We assure you that we will do everything we can to complete the work as quickly as practicably possible."
