Work is continuing on a major cable project in east Belfast.
Energy firm, NIE Networks, said the work to upgrade electricity supplies to the new Ulster Hospital extension may cause some disruption in the area.
The cable work runs the firms Dundonald Substation off East Link Road to Knock Main Substation on the Upper Newtownards Road.
It is scheduled to continue through June with work on Kings Road to begin in July.
Shirley Devlin, Customer Relations Manager at NIE Networks, said: "This connection will bring a total load of 6MW to the Ulster Hospital. However, a project of this scale is likely to cause some disruption to residents and road users in the local area. There will be traffic management in operation 24 hours a day as we will have to close one lane to allow our contractors to work safely. We will be taking advantage of the summer months to extend our working hours and advance this project, minimising disruption to the local community."
Initial work will involve the excavation, ducting and back-filling of the cable route, and the cable pull and jointing work will be carried out at a later date with energisation in autumn 2016.
