Sinn Féin has renewed its call for water charges to be abolished.
The party is also urging people to attend the Right2Water's national demonstration.
The assembly meeting points are at Connolly and Heuston Stations and the demonstration is to be held on Saturday, 17 September.
Dublin North West TD Dessie Ellis said that Fianna Fáil's sudden U-turn on agreeing to the abolition of water charges shows that the march could be effective in swaying the Fianna Fáil supported Government.
He said: "As a part of Right2Water Sinn Féin have always supported abolishing, not suspending water charges. Fianna Fáil have come to this conclusion only this morning, with Micheál Martin's surprise announcement on Morning Ireland.
"The reason for this could be bandwagon jumping or change of heart - I'd suspect the first. One thing is clear however, this issue is still a hot topic and if we keep the pressure up, we will be successful in getting rid of this unjust tax."
