Construction work has begun to extend and refurbish a high school in Lisburn.
The work at Wallace High School is part of a £3.188 million investment as part of the School Enhancement Programme.
The work includes new technology-systems, art rooms, PE and Home Economics accommodation.
Education Minister Peter Weir said: "This £3.188million investment will soon culminate in a new extension and refurbished areas within the existing school building. This will provide modern, state of the art facilities for young people to learn in and for all the school staff to benefit from.
"Ongoing investment in our schools estate is essential if we are to continue to provide a high quality education. As well as the investment in our schools estate, it also helps the local economy and secures construction jobs."
