Students Urged To Apply For SSE Airtricity Scholarship Fund

Students in Northern Ireland are being urged to apply for help with their fees from the SSE Airtricity Scholarship fund.

The fund has a total annual value of around £80,000 which will give up to 20 students support totalling 50% of their Third Level Student Fees from University of Ulster and South West College.

SDLP Cllr Shauna Cusack said it is an "excellent opportunity" for students.

She said: "The project is directly funded through the Slieve Kirk Wind Park Regional Fund which was established in 2014. It is refreshing to see that this company is committed to supporting communities through learning and development opportunities.

"Applications for the scheme close on Friday 21st of October so I would advise swift action. A list of qualifying courses, information and application information can be found online at: www.sseairtricity.com/uk/home/who-we-are/community/sse-airtricity-scholarship-fund/."
