A housing association in Northern Ireland has won a Social Housing Scheme of the Year award for its supported living scheme Ballymisert on the Holywood Road in Belfast.
Triangle Housing scooped the prize at the 2016 Construction Excellence Awards in the Culloden Hotel in Holywood.
The supported living scheme was designed by McAdam Design (Belfast) and developed by Donaghmore Construction Ltd. It was developed for people who require support to manage their mental health, and includes 18 self-contained units and a four bed shared house. The scheme is managed in partnership with the Northern Ireland Association for mental Health (NIAMH).
Raymond Nicholl, Director of Housing at Triangle Housing, said: "Ballymisert is a fantastic scheme which enhances and enriches the quality of people's lives and we are proud that it has been recognised in receiving this prestigious award. The project was a result of tremendous team work between all parties involved and we look forward to continuing to deliver quality housing in the future through positive partnerships."
