A construction firm based in Dunmurry has been awarded a contract to carry out refurbishment work at a youth organisation building in east Belfast.
Maurice Flynn & Sons is to begin work to redevelop a sports hall and meeting room at Willowfield Parish Church youth organisation.
The firm will also install a new kitchen, office, meeting area, multi-use room, meeting room and toilets.
It is part of a £240,000 investment under the Department of Education's youth capital works scheme.
Education Minister Peter Weir said: "It is estimated that over £9 million will have been invested in the programme of youth capital works in the 2016/17 financial year. This investment will enable improvements to be carried out across the youth service positively impacting on children and young people."
