Energy firm NIE Networks has issued a warning to people who are flying drones to keep away from power lines and substations.
The aircrafts could cause damage to the electricity network as they fly at great heights and speeds.
A spokesperson from the firm said: "If one of these drones was to strike an overhead power line or crash into a substation, it could cause major equipment damage and also injure those on the ground. Fly it where there is no risk of hitting overhead power lines or substations."
