Work Starts On Drumaness Resurfacing Scheme

Work has begun on a resurfacing scheme in Drumaness, Co Down.

The project, which is located on the Drumaness Road, involved the resurfacing of a 1.6 kilometre stretch of the A24 Drumaness Road from a point 120 metres north of the Drumaness Road junction to a point 1,720 metres north of the same junction.

To facilitate the work, a temporary 40 mph speed limit and a prohibition on overtaking has been implemented until Friday ,17 February.

Weekend road closures will also be put in place.
