NI Water Announces Event To Discuss Flooding Issues In Belfast

NI Water has announced it is hosting a 'Drop In' event to discuss the ongoing flooding issues in the Greystown/Malone area of Belfast.

The firm is currently completing the detailed design of a major flood alleviation project for the area.

The scheme will involve the upgrading of the existing combined sewer and the Rivers Agency culvert from Upper Malone Road to Finnis Close.

The event is taking place at the Finaghy Community Centre between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday, 01 February.

The project is expected to go to tender in Spring 2017. However, NI Water will issue further information once the timescales have been finalised.
