DUP Minister Simon Hamilton has been asked if he has contacted the PSNI over the botched Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme amid further allegations.
Sinn Féin's Mairtín Ó Muilleoir has written to Minister Hamilton and raised further questions about the operation of the scheme which is set to cost the public purse around £490million.
Mr Ó Muilleoir said: "It was alleged that some participants in the RHI scheme could have claimed more money than was theoretically possible.
"This gives rise to concerns about potentially fraudulent behaviour.
"I have now written to DUP economy minister Simon Hamilton to ask him whether, in response to these allegations, he has reported these cases to the PSNI for investigation."
