A businessman from Antrim has been fined for illegal waste offences.
Mr Robert Robinson was fined a total of £400 at Belfast Magistrates' Court.
He pleaded guilty to two charges of keeping illegal waste.
The charges relate to the illegal deposit of controlled waste on land owned by Mr Robinson at Bellahill Road, Ballycarry.
During a site visit in June 2016, officers from the Northern Ireland Environment Agency discovered approximately 600 tonnes of controlled waste had been recently deposited on the land. A former landfill site run by Robert Robinson, the waste authorisation for the land had been surrendered by him in October 2015.
