The DUP has welcomed plans to redevelop Crumlin Road Courthouse in Belfast.
Signature Living Group is planning to transform the former courthouse into a hotel and training school.
North Belfast MP Nigel Dodds welcomed the announcement.
He said: "I am delighted an agreement has now been reached to purchase and develop a hotel on the site. Signature Living is planning to spend £25 million to restore the courthouse to its former glory and will offer apprenticeships and training courses to the local community.
"The continued development of the cultural corridor in North Belfast offers huge benefits to the local community and I'm looking forward to continuing to work closely with Lawrence and his team as they redevelop one of Belfast most important sites."
