Work To Start On Roundabout Improvement Project In Belfast

Construction work is to start on a roundabout improvement project in Belfast.

A total of £200,000 is being invested to improve the Fortwilliam Roundabout.

Work is to begin on Friday, 31 March, and is expected to be completed by Saturday, 15 April.

During Phase One, the roundabout will be closed from 8.30pm on Friday, 31 March until 6am on Monday, 03 April. The M2 Southbound Off slip will remain open for access to Dargan Road, Harbour Estate and Duncrue Industrial estate only. Shore Road traffic will be advised to use Duncrue Street exit.

During Phase Two the roundabout will be completely closed from 8.30pm on Friday, 07 April until 6am on Monday, 10 April.

The third phase will be from Wednesday, 12 April to Saturday, 15 April.

Diversions will be put in place during the works.
