New Development To Help Disabled People Opens In Dublin

A new development has opened in Dublin to help disabled people live independently.

The Lodge in Balbriggan is part of the Prosper Group.

Minister for Disabilities Finian McGrath TD said: "Innovative facilities such as The Lodge allow people with a disability to live independent lives, exercise greater independence in accessing the services they choose, and enhance their ability to meet their needs and plan their lives."

The Lodge will create opportunities for individuals who attend the facility, through activities such as leisure, health and volunteering.
