EDF Energy Buys Imtech UK And Ireland

EDF Energy has purchased Imtech UK and Ireland from Endless LLP.

The deal is a joint venture between EDF Energy and Dalkia and completion is subject to merger control clearance from the European Commission.

EDF Group will enable Imtech UK and Ireland to continue to deliver services for new and existing clients and support its growth across all its business, including low carbon solutions, a key part of both Imtech and EDF Group strategies. 

Within EDF Energy Services Imtech will retain its operational autonomy and will continue to run the business with its management team.

Paul Kavanagh, Chief Executive Officer (CE) of Imtech UK and Ireland, said: "We are delighted to become part of the EDF family. The support of EDF Energy Services strengthens our capacity to continue to grow and build on our relationships with new and existing customers in the years ahead. I would like to recognise the support our customers have given the business over many years and we look forward to continuing to partner with them."
