30 residents living in Carriag Eden, Co Wicklow, who had previously been served eviction notices, will now be able to stay in their homes.
The notice of sale has been received and Tiglin is to continue to provide services at the site.
Following the breakdown of a deal to purchase Carraig Eden earlier this year, Fianna Fáil TD Deputy Stephen Donnelly worked with Wicklow County Council, the Tiglin team and others to see if a new agreement could be reached. Intensive efforts over the last two weeks have resulted in a deal being reached with IAOG.
Mr Donnelly said: "I am delighted to see that this very difficult situation has been resolved. The key concern has always been the wellbeing of the residents at Carraig Eden and ensuring that they are not faced with having to find alternative accommodation. The agreement reached between all parties involved means that this situation will not arise as the residents will be able to stay in their homes."
