A new telephone number for planning enquiries in Belfast has been announced.
The new contact number is (028) 9050 0510 and is in use from today, 03 July and is for residents and developers in the Belfast City Council area.
It replaces the public enquiry service previously operated by NI Direct.
In addition to enquiring about planning applications and receiving general planning advice, the number can be used to report breaches of planning permission and to enquire about tree preservation orders; the protection and preservation of built heritage and the local development plan, which outlines how land should be used and developed in the future.
