BSG Civil engineering has been appointed by NI Water to install a new sewer on the Antrim Road in Lisburn.
The work, between the Antrim Road Roundabout and Bellevue Drive, will start on 24 July and is expected to be completed in four weeks.
The proposed construction work will involve the laying of approximately 70 metres of sewer and associated manholes.
Detailed traffic management arrangements have been discussed with the Department of Infrastructure, and in order to carry out the work safely, it will be necessary to have a road closure in place between the Antrim Road roundabout and Bellevue Drive.
Vehicular access will be maintained for local residents but may at times be subject to short delays, pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
