Work To Start On £170,000 Resurfacing Scheme In Omagh

Work is to start on a £170,000 resurfacing scheme in Omagh.

The project on the A5 Great Northern Road is scheduled to begin on Monday, 24 July.

Features include repairing a 0.9km strech of carriageway from the Dublin Road slip road to 160 metres west of Kevlin Avenue will improve its structural condition, enhance the running surface and reduce maintenance costs. The work will include tie-in's on the slip road, Kevlin Avenue and on Kevlin Road.

To carry out the work, a road closure of the A5 Great Northern Road and adjoining roads within the works area will be in place nightly, from 7pm to 6.30am, from24 July to 04 August. Diversions will be in place.
