The Boil Water Notice which was put in place on the Bree Water Supply Scheme in Co Wexford has been lifted.
The notice, which was put in place on 12 July, was issued following the detection of low levels of E.coli and Coliforms as part of routine water quality sampling.
Following remedial works on the supply and the recording of satisfactory monitoring results in consultation with the HSE the boil water notice has now been lifted as the water supply is again compliant with drinking water regulations.
Irish Water apologised for any inconvenience caused.
