Approval has been given for the development of 70 rapid build delivery homes in Dublin.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy TD said the houses will be built in Cherry Orchard, Ballyfermot (53 units), Rathvilly Park (13 units) and Woodbank Drive (4 units), Finglas.
The houses include 39 three bedroom units and 31 two bedroom units and will provide much needed homes for up to 320 people.
Minister Murphy is providing funding of €15.3million for the project, which will include enhanced road infrastructure, services and community amenities. It is expected that the first units will be delivered and completed by the end of this year and that the project will be completed in early 2018.
