Two New Members Appointed To Board Of SEAI

Two new members have been appointed to the Board of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, Mr Denis Naughten TD, has selected Ms Ann Markey and Mr Andrew Ennis.

The SEAI was established as Ireland's national energy authority under the Sustainable Energy Act 2002.

Minister Naughten said "I am very pleased to appoint both Ann and Andrew to the Board of SEAI. I believe that their range of experience will strengthen the expertise of the Board and further equip the SEAI as it further continues to move Ireland towards a more energy efficient and decarbonised future."

The appointments are for a period of five years effective from 14 July 2017.
