The Government is being urged to support home owners whose properties are affected by pyrite.
Sinn Fein made the call after the NSAI published the revised standards for homes impacted by pyrite.
Sinn Féin TD for Fingal Louise O'Reilly said: "Home owners in North County Dublin with pyrite need more support from the government. In particular, there needs to be help for those who need to carry out survey work and for those who are living in blocks with pyrite damage.
"It makes sense for these homes to be remediated en masse, but there is, at present, no provision for this. Likewise, there is no financial support for those families who carry out tests but whose homes are not sufficiently damaged to warrant inclusion in the remediation scheme.
"Owners of homes with pyrite in North County Dublin have seen recently that, while pyrite has had a huge impact on their lives and the lives of their families, the developer responsible for building some of the houses impacted is set to build more houses on their doorstep. It is unfair that, while they are still dealing with the impact of pyrite, those responsible are apparently back in business."
