Work On Over 100 Social Homes In Bangor Complete

Construction work on over 100 social homes in Bangor, Co Down, has been completed.

The 102 homes for Radius Housing are located in the Rathgill area.

Sheila Taylor, Area Housing Manager, Radius Housing said: "The build reflects the needs of families currently on the NIHE waiting list for the Bangor area. We believe this exciting development will be of great community benefit. These new modern homes meet the requirements of the DFC Housing Association Design Guide (including Lifetime Homes and Secure by Design principles) they were also designed to meet the current enhanced building control regulations which has an emphasis on increased insulation, which will help to reduce energy bills along with helping to address fuel poverty issues."
