Work Continues To Repair Pump In Co Kerry

Irish Water has confirmed it is working to repair a pump which supplies water to the Listowel Regional Water Treatment Plant in Co Kerry.

The water supply to customers in Listowel, Moyvane, Knockanure, Lisselton, Finuge, Lixnaw and surrounding areas has been disrupted and water tankers have been made available.

Replacement parts are being made in Mallow and Kerry County Council have been on location monitoring the situation closely.

Water tankers are available at the following locations:

• Listowel – The Square and car park at Kerry County Council offices

• Lisselton – Car Park at Lisselton Cross

• Lixnaw – Church Car Park

• Knockanure – Church Car Park

• Finuge – Car Park at GAA Grounds

• Moyvane – Church Car Park

In a statement Irish Water said: "Customers who currently have a supply are asked to conserve their supply. Our customer care helpline is open 24/7 and we would encourage any vulnerable customers who are not registered with us to contact us on 1850 278 278 for further information.
