Eight people are currently under active criminal investigation over the sale of the National Asset Management Agency's (NAMA) northern loan book.
Sinn Féin MLA Conor Murphy said the public is entitled to get to the full truth behind the NAMA sale.
Mr Murphy said: "Quite clearly this is an ongoing matter of public interest.
"While it will no doubt take time to trawl through the hundreds of documents seized as part of the investigation, the public is entitled to know the truth.
"There also needs to be increased co-operation north and south, and internationally to ensure that this investigation is as thorough as possible so that we can get answers.
"I, like many people, will look forward to the conclusion and outcome of this investigation."
