The Minister for Justice and Equality has been called to speed up on the delivery of the new Macroom Garda Station.
Fianna Fail Cork North West TD, Aindrias Moynihan, said Minister Charlie Flanagan needs to "stop washing his hands" on the matter.
He said: "Unfortunately, despite the site being acquired already for the Macroom project, we are still no further along the road to having a new station open to the public.
"This is, I believe, a direct result of tying in the Macroom project with the delivery of new stations in Clonmel and Sligo.
"The use of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) to deliver these three stations is a positive development. However, the failure to acquire sites for the stations in Clonmel and Sligo should not be allowed to slow down construction of the Macroom station.
"Minister Flanagan needs to work to speed up the delivery of the new station in Macroom.
"It was his Government that agreed to the terms of the PPP with the private developers, so his attempts ‘to wipe his hands clean won't wash with the public."
