Upgrade works at a pumping station in Gartan, Co Donegal, are now complete.
Irish Water invested €750,000 in the project which also included the development of 5km of new water main.
The work will facilitate the connection of customers on the Churchill water supply to the more reliable and better quality supply from Letterkenny.
Source Civil Limited carried out the work on behalf of Irish Water working in partnership with Donegal County Council.
John McElwaine, Irish Water's Capital Programmes Lead, said: "The delivery of this project means that residents and businesses in Churchill will now enjoy a better quality and more reliable water supply as a result of these works. This will be welcomed locally and will improve drinking water quality for consumers in the Churchill and Gartan areas."
