Repair Work Complete On Water Treatment Plant In Co Kilkenny

A water treatment plant is Co Kilkenny is back in production following flooding issues.

Repairs have been carried out on the Ballyragget Water Treatment Plant and normal water supply has been restored to customers.

In a statement Irish Water said: "Customers should not be concerned if they have any discolouration in their water when it's switched back on, allow the tap to run until the water runs clear.

"Irish Water and Kilkenny County Council apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused as a result of the issue."
