Construction Work To Start On Road Improvement Project In Co Down

Construction work is to start on a £125,000 road improvement project in Annacloy, Co Down.

The work on the Drumnaconagher Road will begin on Monday, 04 December.

The scheme will involve drainage works and the resurfacing of a 1.15km stretch of the U0107 Drumnaconagher Road from the Drumaghlis Road junction to a point 150m from the Teconnaught Road junction.

Some footpath resurfacing work will also be carried out in the vicinity of the Holy Family Primary School.

The Drumnaconagher Road will be closed between 9am to 4.30pm from Monday, 04 December to Friday, 22 December during the week and open at weekends and evenings.

The diversion route will be signed with traffic being diverted via Cumber Road, B2 Downpatrick Road and Teconnaught Road.
