Contractor Farrans Utilities is to begin work on a £2.4 million water mains improvement scheme in Cookstown.
Approximately 30km of new watermains will be installed in the Orritor Road area of the town and the eight-week scheme will get underway on Monday, 08 January.
Work will be carried out in two sections and take place between 9.30pm to 6am. Section one will be laid from the junction of Morgans Hill Road to the entrance of Marks & Spencer and section two will take place from the junction at Marks & Spencer to Oldtown Street.
NI Water thanked the public for their patience and said it will do everything possible to keep any disruption to a minimum.
