Chancellor's Plans To Address Lack Of Housing Will Fail - Westminster Committee

The Chancellor's proposals to address the lack of housing will fail, a Westminster committee has warned.

Sinn Fein said the only way to help resolve the crisis is to establish a comprehensive building programme.

North Belfast MLA Carál Ní Chuilín said described the Conservative policy as "exacerbating".

She said: "What we need are proposals that provide for a comprehensive social housing build programme and concrete measures to deal with the historic legacy of housing inequality."
