Fianna Fail has slammed reports that the party has entered into an agreement with the Government to prevent a vote on the National Planning Framework (NPF).
Spokesperson on Housing Barry Cowen TD rejected suggestions made by Sinn Féin Deputies in the Dáil regarding the voting arrangements for the National Planning Framework.
He said: "Fianna Fáil has put down a number of amendments in the Seanad to strengthen the role of the Oireachtas in overseeing the National Planning Framework.
"It would be more in line for Sinn Féin Deputies to do some basic research rather than attempt to mislead the Dáil."
