£275,000 Drainage Infrastructure Upgrade To Start In Whiteabbey

Lowry Building and Civil Engineering is to begin work on a £275,000 drainage infrastructure scheme in Whiteabbey.

The 12-week scheme will reduce flooding to 29 properties in Whiteabbey by replacing existing an inadequate and structurally defective masonry culvert. The project will include building a new precast concrete box culvert in Glenville Way and scour protection works downstream of the Shore Road.

Works are scheduled to get underway on Monday, 16 April.
