Irish Water To Issue New Water Meters In Donegal And Limerick

Irish Water is to issue new water meters to its business customers in Co Donegal and Co Limerick.

The new meters have in-built drive-by technology that allows for faster and more frequent meter readings.

The data will then be sent to Irish Water to assist in identifying potential leaks at premises, and to ensure more accurate water bills.

There is no charge issued for the change, but the water supply to businesses will be shut off for approximately 15 minutes to complete the installation.
