Planning permission has been granted to Moorefield Hospitality Ltd and Premier Inn for the development of a hotel on the Antrim Road, Crumlin.
The Planning Committee of Antrim and Newtonabbey Borough Council granted permission for the site, set to be located adjacent to the junction of Ballyrobin and Antrim Roads.
Committee Chairman, Councillor Philip Brett said: "This is a fantastic investment in the tourism infrastructure of our Borough. The development will create 81 bedrooms on a site of approximately 8 hectares of land. It will also bring much needed construction jobs to the area and increase the offering further to residents and visitors using the gateway of Belfast International Airport."
