Kildare County Council has put forward a proposal to build a community playground in the Sallins Parish Lands.
The site is located off Chapel Avenue between the rear of the existing Parochial House and Primary School.
This comes after the playground proposals were published last year. Since then the location has been revised and the proposals have been readvertised.
The playground, aimed at 1-12 year olds will contain a range of equipment including swings, slides, seesaws and rockers.
A new 4 metre footpath is included in the plan to get access to the playground, along with 2.4 metre high fences and proposed all weather pitches.
The full particulars of the plans can be seen online on Kildare County Council's website and also at the Community Culture Department during opening hours.
