Kilkenny Council Prepares New Development Plan

Kilkenny County Council is preparing a brand new County Development Plan for 2020-2026 to replace the County and City and Environs Development Plans.

The new consolidated plan will be a blueprint for planning and development in the Kilkenny area.

A public consultation period is now underway until the 15 June, during which the public are invited to make submissions.

A public information event took place in Kilkenny City Hall on 10 May regarding the development plan. Two other events are also planned.

An event on 'Tourism & Heritage' will be held in the Mullinavat Community Centre Retail at 7.30pm on 16 May.

Another event will be held, 'Economic development & Transportation and Land Use', in Ballyragget Community Hall at 7.30pm on 22 May.
