A Northern Ireland construction company has completed a £2.7 tunnel project in London.
FK Lowry Piling installed 91 linear metres of hard secant bored pile walls with 880mm diameter temporary casings to form a 30m diameter shaft for the west section drive of the Thames Tideway Tunnel.
A range of CFA and Rotary Bored piles were also installed, ranging from 750mm, 900mm and 1180mm diameter with 2 No. dual purpose Soilmec SR-75 and SR-95 Piling Rigs.
