Crosserlough Construction has completed work on a €600,000 housing development in Butlersbridge, Cavan.
The four three-bed terraced houses were officially opened on Monday, 21 May, by Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Damien English.
Minister English said: "I am pleased to be in Cavan today to see the progress being made by Cavan County Council under their social housing programme. I'm delighted to officially open these four units at Butlersbridge, and I note they were built by a local company which is also good news."
Construction is also progressing on a project in Ballyhaise, Cavan, to build four three-bed semi-detached homes and four two-bed semi-detached houses. Crosserlough Construction is also completing work on this €1.8 million project.
Work began on the project in October last year.
Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Paddy McDonald, added: "I welcome the Government's much-needed investment in social housing in County Cavan, and I am delighted to see that these housing units have been completed to such a high standard. I'm sure the new tenants will be very happy here."
