Work Underway To Replace Water Mains In Kildare

Ward and Burke Construction has commenced work to replace an ageing water mains in Brownstone, Kildare.

The project will decommission and replace the iron water mains from the Suncroft Village along the L3007 to the Brownstown crossroads.

It will reduce the level of leakage in the area as part of Irish Water's €500 million national Leakage Reduction Programme.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
